Our Story

Built to make diabetes tracking and self-management clearer and more practical.

DiabetesConnect was created to make everyday diabetes tracking feel clearer, more practical, and easier to keep up with over time, from AI meal analysis and calorie goals to blood sugar, reports, reminders, community learning, and wider health trends.

Where you live or what you earn should not determine the diabetes care you get.

DiabetesConnect was founded by Dr Ryizan Nizar, with a focus on making diabetes tracking and support more practical for everyday life.

The product grew from a clear need: many people want a simpler way to record their data, spot trends over time, and keep meals, metrics, reminders, reports, and key diabetes information together instead of split across multiple disconnected tools.

The project is built on a simple belief that better diabetes support should feel accessible, understandable, affordable, multilingual, and useful in the real routines of everyday life.

Why it was built

Keeping diabetes data in one system makes it easier to understand trends, stay organised, and keep important checks visible over time without juggling separate tools.

One place for data

One of the biggest needs in diabetes care is a simple way to keep important health data in one place so patterns can actually be seen, whether that means meals, blood sugar, medication routines, eye and foot checks, or longer-term test results.

Complete care

Managing diabetes is about more than blood sugar alone. Bringing AI meal analysis, calories, macros, activity, blood pressure, HbA1c, cholesterol, kidney health, PDF reports, and Pulse community support together can support more informed self-management and better clinician conversations.

Targets and graphs

DiabetesConnect helps people store and track their health data, review changes over time, compare results with goals, and use graphs, averages, daily summaries, and reminders to better understand where they stand.

Built for wider access

The project was created to make practical diabetes support feel more accessible, multilingual, and flexible through free and paid access options.
